v1.2.4 overview​

Via-B v1.2.4 keeps independent graphics running and delivers every available MagicSoft assignment when another module still needs setup. It also keeps the selected match consistent across the interface, module runs, and delivery.

v1.2.4 changes​

  • A module that needs setup or cannot generate output no longer blocks independent modules or their available MagicSoft assignments.
  • Unavailable output no longer clears valid on-air assignments. Via-B leaves unresolved targets unchanged and delivers the available targets.
  • Player Stats starts with one variation containing Minutes Played, Passes, and Touches without selecting a player for the operator.
  • Missing selected-match Opta values identify the affected mapping and explain whether to refresh the feed or remap the source.
  • Selected-match context stays consistent across the interface, module runs, and delivery, including interrupted match changes.
  • Idle delivery no longer appears busy or failed, and selecting a historical or future match no longer creates a stale live-feed incident.

v1.2.4 operator impact​

  • Operators can run and deliver an independent graphic while Player Stats or another module is still being configured.
  • Via-B sends only assignments with available values and does not overwrite unresolved MagicSoft targets with empty values.
  • Player Stats opens with a useful starting variation while leaving player selection to the operator.

v1.2.4 validation​

  • Independent module generation and MagicSoft delivery were verified while Player Stats was not configured.
  • Selected-match mapping produced the expected LiveManager assignment and kept the same match throughout generation and delivery.
  • The signed Windows installers passed real clean-install, update, repair, reinstall, and rollback checks. The Linux AppImage and DEB passed native upgrade and rollback checks. The rehearsals preserved settings, license state, files, and the private database.
