Follow the match clock​

Match-minute schedules now use Opta's actual period start and reported interruptions. They no longer wait for the next whole-minute clock update, the timing problem described in v1.2.9. Countdowns advance while play continues. Event-based updates still depend on Opta reporting the relevant event.

Before a run captures its inputs, Via-B refreshes the selected match's feeds. If a refresh is unavailable, it uses the available saved match data. Check the graphic before air, especially when the feed has not supplied all statistics.

In Operate > Scheduler, specific times and confirmed match events share one descending time order. Simultaneous runs stay together as their status changes. Past events show their actual time under When; Status retains the time from triggering the run to MagicSoft's acknowledgement. Events that had already passed when a schedule became active are marked missed.

Windows notifications use the same bilingual animation names as Mapping and Operate. Notifications now start on, and updating from an older version turns the saved setting on once. If you turn them off afterward, Via-B remembers that choice. Choose event types in Settings > Windows notifications.

Find and select matches​

Select Match now shows daily match counts, consistent competition colors, actual half-time and final timestamps, and a preview that stays visible while you browse. Search covers the available match catalog and shows 25 results at a time; use Load more for the next page.

Mapping assignments use the same picker to select several matches. If a source cannot be loaded completely, it stays visible with Retry. Progress remains visible during a match switch, and Via-B checks the saved selection after an operation succeeds or fails. The update also fixes a database conflict that could interrupt selecting a match.

Clean generated graphics​

Use Settings > File cleanup to remove current and previous generated graphics and their saved copies. Imported artwork and settings are preserved. Clean files after you have finished using the graphics in MagicSoft, then generate them again before their next use.

The top bar shows blue progress. Windows notifications report when cleanup starts and finishes, with file counts. Via-B remains responsive: cleanup waits for publication and yields when a new Run starts. Returning to Settings keeps the cleanup button in its running state until the work finishes.

Clean files on application exit performs the same cleanup when you choose Quit Via-B. This option starts off. Closing the window only hides the app.

Clearer Run and delivery status​

Run reads the saved configuration without waiting for the module readiness scan. Accepted and running requests appear in the activity indicators, and module cards refresh their health when the work finishes. Saving an output folder no longer turns unrelated ready cards orange.

Automatic removal of old generated files runs separately from delivery, so a file scan no longer delays the next queued send. Waiting deliveries and saved retry failures explain their cause and automatic recovery. Normal transfers no longer flash an action that you do not need to take.

Schedule requests, module work, project scanning and startup follow the work's actual completion or cancellation. Slow work is no longer cut off by the fixed deadlines removed in this release.

Mapping and graphic corrections​

• Opening a mapping profile selects a layer belonging to that profile. It no longer carries another profile's variation into an empty editor or falsely reports that the profile was archived.
• Active variations keep inherited mappings when their base template has been archived. This also fixes the related application startup failure.
• Player Stats checkboxes leave room for readable labels in narrow windows. The player browser sorts in descending order by default.
• Clubs has one Kit color for Match Stats and End Stat bars. Existing primary colors and other club settings are preserved.
• Match Stats, End Stat, Heat Map and Attacking Third preserve the supplied Plan B banners and their original colors in English, Thai and bilingual graphics, independently of the kit color.
• The leftover edge of the English title beneath the first Thai character in Match Stats has been removed.

Availability and instructions​

Via-B checks for updates when you open the app. See Downloads for the published packages. Prewarm remains available only for End Stat; the other graphics modules still run their scheduled updates without it.

Schedule a graphic​

Choose the times or match events when you want a graphic to update. For example, you can set the same graphic to update at 15 minutes and at half time. Choose Real time to update it whenever the match data changes instead. Selecting Real time turns off its scheduled updates.

The panel on the right lists the selected times and events, or shows Real time. Click Save schedule to apply them. Turn off Automatic updates enabled and save to pause the graphic. You can still click Run to generate it yourself.

End Stat offers Prewarm for individual scheduled updates, starting at five minutes before the update. Prewarm is not yet available for Match Stats, Heat Map, Attacking Third or Player Stats.

The Scheduler card on Operate lists scheduled updates with their graphic names, times, and results. Use the edit button beside an entry to change its schedule. Schedule history keeps the recorded results after a restart. Windows notifications can report preparation, generation and delivery while Via-B is minimized; enable them in Settings.

Match-minute updates can currently run late when Opta reports whole-minute timing. If you need an update at a precise match minute, watch the match clock and click Run yourself. Remove that scheduled entry to avoid another update later. This problem remains under investigation.

Use Thai-English animations​

The bilingual choices cover Attacking Third, Heat Map, Match Stats, Player Stats, End Stat Half Time and End Stat Full Match. They are included in the Default Thai League mapping profile.

To map one, select it in Source and expand the row. Choose a MagicSoft variable for each part: Thai entrance, Thai still and English still.

Open the module and click Install MagicSoft projects to install its supplied projects, then open those files in MagicSoft. This also updates older copies; Via-B keeps a backup before replacing a file that differs.

The projects show the Thai entrance, hold the Thai graphic, then show English. The Thai hold lasts five seconds for Match Stats and Player Stats, and ten seconds for Attacking Third, Heat Map and both End Stat graphics. To preview the complete sequence in the MagicSoft CG editor, select Image3 before pressing the timeline's Play button.

Generate several animations​

Use the menu beside Run to choose the animations you want to generate together. Via-B remembers those choices for the next Run and for Set match and run modules.

An unmapped choice does not prevent other mapped choices from being sent.

Choose Player Stats statistics​

Player Stats now has one editor for the player, variation details and three statistics. Search the current match's players, compare their statistics, then choose the player and the statistics to display. You can change their order and edit the English and Thai broadcast labels before saving.

The player browser sorts numerical columns by value. Cancel protects the saved variation, and a failed save keeps your edits open. Variations that use the same statistic share its edited broadcast label.

Thai League names and artwork​

The release includes approved English and Thai club names, short names and abbreviations for the 16 Thai League clubs, plus matched player names and headshots. Names and images you have entered take precedence over the supplied defaults. Open Clubs or Players in Modules to inspect or change them.

Graphic corrections include the complete Port FC crest, alignment of player numbers with Thai names, and spacing for percentages with one decimal place. The Thai End Stat Half Time title is now ครึ่งแรก.

Mapping and match data​

You can choose supported Opta sources before kickoff, including score fields whose values have not arrived yet. Saving a mapping keeps its source choice when a module's default Run choices change. Adding a mapping also preserves unfinished edits to other mappings.

Run uses the data available for past, live and future matches. Missing numerical statistics appear as zero, with percentages shown to one decimal place. Check the graphic before air because zero can mean the feed has not supplied that value yet.

Generation and connection fixes​

Via-B continues fetching match data while graphics generate, and switching matches no longer waits for a slow render to finish. This release removes fixed render time limits and fixes checks that prevented valid graphic files from being transferred.

Interrupted deliveries can recover after reconnecting or restarting. Scheduled retries use the match data saved for that run, and older work cannot replace a newer result. A failed refresh of managed Opta credentials keeps valid local credentials.

The top bar no longer shows an orange Not synchronized warning simply because nothing has been sent yet. Generation progress and sending results reflect the work taking place. Connection problems have guidance in Operate's Priority actions. The connection guide also explains how to use Via-B and the separate MagicSoft Live Manager application with different port pairs.

Downloads​

Via-B checks for updates when you open the app. The Windows and Linux downloads are available. The installer with Thai instructions will follow; you can already use Via-B in Thai after installing it with the English installer.

Via-B v1.2.8 lets operators generate graphics when Opta data is missing or delayed, restores the Match Stats and End Stat statistic selectors, and fixes PNG sequence downloads and delivery feedback.

What changes for operators​

• Run uses the available data for past, live, and future matches. Missing selected numerical statistics display 0, without waiting for a match to become live.
• Percentages retain one decimal place: 40.1%, 60.9%, and 0.0%.
• Match Stats lets you inspect the selected match's statistics and choose three comparisons per variation. The defaults remain POSSESSION, ATTEMPTS, and ON TARGET, with their existing English and Thai labels.
• End Stat has separate ten-statistic selections for Half Time and Full Match, using the existing defaults and labels. Either animation can run before its match boundary.
• PNG sequence downloads work independently of MagicSoft delivery. Generating or downloading a sequence does not require a mapping; sending it to MagicSoft still requires the intended mapping and destination.
• A repeated manual Run generates and sends the requested mapped output again, even when the match values have not changed.

Via-B v1.2.7 preserves Thai club identifiers in Attacking Third and Heat Map, removes the retired shared and generated abbreviation paths, and lets an operator explicitly run the available empty-data animations for a future match.

v1.2.7 changes​

• Attacking Third and Heat Map retain lower Thai combining marks. The verified Heat Map label บีจี ปทุม now includes the complete ุ vowel without clipping.
• English and Thai club identifiers resolve independently in this order: the matching Clubs override, the club's Opta code, then an empty value. Via-B does not generate an abbreviation and no longer reads the retired shared club_identifier value.
• A missing identifier remains empty and does not block generation or synchronization.
• An explicit Run for a future-match Heat Map or Attacking Third graphic produces its complete 26-frame, 0-0 animation without arrows, density, or unofficial event data. Automatic generation remains in Waiting until match data is available.
• If an exact unsupported character is detected while rendering a club identifier, Via-B provides a localized recovery message for correcting that club and language in Clubs instead of showing an unexplained synchronization block.

v1.2.7 operator impact​

• Allow the signed startup update to finish and Via-B to relaunch. No manual reinstall or database action is required.
• To correct a displayed club identifier, open Clubs and set the English or Thai override. Clear the override to use the club's Opta code; if neither value exists, the output stays empty without stopping the run.
• For a future match, use Run when you need the available empty-data animation immediately. Waiting during automatic operation means that Via-B is waiting for match data, not that synchronization failed.

v1.2.7 validation​

• The signed Windows Operator App candidate was exercised with MagicSoft CG 10.4.0.618. Every runnable module was run on the November 30 match in every available language, including both End Stat phases; Heat Map and Attacking Third were then run after switching to the September 4 and September 5 future matches.
• Every sequence was downloaded through the Operator App's Download sequence control. All 20 final frames and eight five-stage motion contact sheets were inspected at original resolution for text shaping, lower Thai marks, clipping, layout, framing, transparency, motion, and values; the future-match output contained no unofficial data.
• Each September 4 and September 5 target output contains all 26 frames. The published MagicSoft manifests reported zero missing frames and zero checksum mismatches in the configured MagicSoft resource folder.
• Signed Thai MSI, English MSI, NSIS, Linux AppImage, and DEB update and recovery rehearsals passed against the exact immutable release candidate without rebuilding it.

Via-B v1.2.6 applies the final approved Thai wording to End Stat, Heat Map, Match Stats, and Player Stats. It restores deliberate End Stat label-to-bar clearance without shrinking the approved text and ensures the next run after an installed module update generates the current graphic instead of reusing an older publication.

v1.2.6 changes​

• End Stat uses ครอบครองบอล, เตะมุม, จ่ายบอลสำเร็จ, and ฟาวล์ for the corrected Thai rows in both half-time and full-time output.
• Heat Map uses the Thai title พื้นที่การเล่น.
• Match Stats uses the Thai title สถิติการแข่งขัน and possession label ครอบครองบอล.
• Player Stats uses จ่ายบอลสำเร็จ for its completed-passes label.
• End Stat rows 1-6 now keep at least 8 px between each label and its bar. Rows 7-10 retain their established placement, and labels remain Prompt Bold at 25 px.
• When installed bundled-module bytes change, the next eligible Run generates and publishes the updated graphic rather than retaining stale output from the previous package.

v1.2.6 operator impact​

• Allow the signed startup update to finish and Via-B to relaunch. No manual reinstall or database action is required for this release.
• Continue using Run and Download sequence from the existing module controls. The corrected Thai labels appear in newly generated output after the update.
• Player Stats still requires one selected player and uses the same three fixed statistics: Shots, Chances Created, and Passing Accuracy.

v1.2.6 validation​

• The commissioned Windows Operator App used an entitled Sukhothai vs Bangkok United match to run every installed module that exposes Run in every available language, including both End Stat phases.
• All 12 sequences were downloaded through the module interface. All 324 PNG frames, the complete animations, all 12 final frames, focused Thai-label crops, transparency, framing, source values, readiness, and the empty application error state were checked.
• Signed Windows MSI, Thai MSI, NSIS, Linux AppImage, and DEB update and recovery paths passed against the exact released packages.

v1.2.5 validation​

• The native Windows application generated and passed visual inspection for every English and Thai graphics module using Sukhothai vs Bangkok United on 30 November 2025.
• Player Stats Setup required, player selection, fixed defaults, and MagicSoft installation progress/success/failure states were verified in the native application.

• Unavailable output no longer clears valid on-air assignments. Via-B leaves unresolved targets unchanged and delivers the available targets.
• Player Stats starts with one variation containing Minutes Played, Passes, and Touches without selecting a player for the operator.
• Missing selected-match Opta values identify the affected mapping and explain whether to refresh the feed or remap the source.
• Selected-match context stays consistent across the interface, module runs, and delivery, including interrupted match changes.
• Idle delivery no longer appears busy or failed, and selecting a historical or future match no longer creates a stale live-feed incident.

• Independent module generation and MagicSoft delivery were verified while Player Stats was not configured.
• Selected-match mapping produced the expected LiveManager assignment and kept the same match throughout generation and delivery.

Via-B v1.2.2 repairs Windows installation on machines without a system-wide Microsoft Visual C++ runtime. It also removes files left by the retired Animated Arrows module during upgrades.

Via-B v1.2.1 fixes a mapping problem that could leave MagicSoft text unchanged even though the mapping appeared ready. Mapping sources now come from the selected match's real Opta data or from genuine outputs owned by installed Via-B modules. The release also removes the mapping Side field, retires Animated Arrows, applies the supplied presentation text, fixes the Player Stats variation menu, and corrects packaged updater configuration.

Operator action​

1. Select the match before choosing a mapping source.
2. Choose an Opta field shown for that match or an output from an installed module.
3. If an existing source is marked unsupported, select the correct current source and apply the mapping again.
4. If Via-B says a value is unavailable, refresh the selected match and follow the readiness message before going on air.
